About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Trunk packaging materials between production facilities and the central logistics hub, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage.
Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
Maintain regular communication with the transport office to provide updates on delivery progress and respond to any changes or issues in real time.
Represent the company professionally at every delivery point, ensuring excellent customer service and building strong relationships with store teams.
Participate in ongoing training and development, including refresher courses and updates on industry regulations, to keep your skills sharp and compliant.
Essential Skills and Qualifications You must hold a valid UK Class 1 CE licence, enabling you to operate articulated vehicles with confidence and professionalism.
A current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and a Digital Tachograph Driver Card are essential to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
Previous experience delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.

Competitive Salary : £17.50 per hour, based on 11.25 hours per shift.
PLUS for all hours worked between 21:00hrs & 04:00hrs, you will receive an additional £2.75 per hour.
Shift Hours : 19:00hrs - 07:00hrs, working on a 4on 4off rota.
Overtime : Paid at an hourly rate.
Rest day working paid.
