As a Class 1 Tramper, you will:
- Be willing to stay away from home for four nights per week, with an additional £100 paid weekly for tramping.
- Complete a range of nationwide deliveries and collections using curtain-side trailers, transporting palletised goods across multiple contracts.
- Ensure all goods are loaded correctly and securely restrained to prevent movement or damage, using straps, nets, and other suitable securing equipment.
- Carry out comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using a company-issued phone to maintain high standards of vehicle safety and reliability.
- Maintain regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates and ensure customer expectations are consistently met.
- Participate in regular training sessions to remain up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
Competitive Salary: £41,600 per annum. Weekly overtime available after 56 hours. Plus a tax-free night-out allowance of up to £4,800 a year.
