About the Role As a Class 1 Tramper, you will: Be willing to stay away from home for four nights per week, with an additional £100 paid weekly for tramping. Complete a range of nationwide deliveries and collections using curtain-side trailers, transporting palletised goods across multiple contracts. Ensure all goods are loaded correctly and securely restrained to prevent movement or damage, using straps, nets, and other suitable securing equipment. Carry out comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using a company-issued phone to maintain high standards of vehicle safety and reliability. Maintain regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates and ensure customer expectations are consistently met. Participate in regular training sessions to remain up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices. Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated. Competitive Salary: Guaranteed minimum weekly pay: £803.81, earn up to £21.44 per hour on Saturday, Sundays and Bank Holidays. PLUS for all hours worked between 21:00hrs 04:00hrs, you will receive an additional £2.75 per hour. Shift Hours : Monday to Friday Overtime : Enhanced rates for working weekends.
