About the Role:
- Carrying out the collection and delivery of AdBlue.
- Working to set delivery rotas, ensuring timely and efficient completion of all scheduled drops and collections.
- Engaging directly with customers both in person and over the phone, delivering excellent customer service and representing the company to a high standard.
- Completing comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and reliability.
- Navigating a variety of driving conditions, including a high degree of rural driving depending on collection and delivery locations.
- Undertaking regular tramping duties, spending nights away from home in the vehicle where required.
- Remaining flexible to changing schedules, routes and operational requirements to support business needs.
- Participating in ongoing training to stay up to date with industry standards, compliance requirements and best practices.
Rota is flexible and offered on a weekly basis, with drivers contacted in advance to confirm availability. This is a zero/casual hours arrangement to support peak periods, annual leave and unplanned absences.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of working with tankers is advantageous but full training will be given.
- Excellent organisation skills and used to working to deadlines.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Confident, polite and a team player.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the local area.
- Due to the nature of the role applicants must be hardworking and self-motivated.
