About the Role: As a Class 1 Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding service to our customers across the UK. Take responsibility for nationwide collections and deliveries, operating a curtain-sided trailer with professionalism and care. Operate predominantly with refrigerated box trailers to ensure safe and efficient transport of temperature-controlled goods. Ensure every load is safely secured, using ratchet straps and carrying out some manual handling to maintain the highest safety standards. Maintain regular communication with our transport team, providing updates on progress to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded. Participate in ongoing training and development, staying up to date with industry best practices and continuously enhancing your skills.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
