Transport Administrator Location: Aberdeen
About Us: At ARR Craib Ltd, we are committed to delivering excellence in logistics and transport services. Our team is dedicated to maintaining high standards of compliance and operational efficiency. We are currently seeking a Transport Administrator to join our team at our Aberdeen, Dyce site. This is a key role within the transport operation, working closely with the Customer Service and Transport teams to support the efficient running of the site and ensure a high standard of service is delivered to our customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Working with the Customer Service Team to ensure deliveries are scheduled as per customer requirements.
- Booking in customer deliveries in a timely manner.
- Assisting the transport team in dealing with delivery issues and vehicle breakdowns as required.
- Supporting the team with keeping the Pallet Networks systems up to date.
- Responding to customer emails and phone queries in a timely manner.
- Processing customer requests and inputting data on various systems.
- General administration duties to include processing driver's paperwork.
- Printing and preparing labels for drivers' pallets and preparing the manifests for onward delivery.
- Assisting with KPI information analysis.
The job can be fast-paced and pressurised, but you will receive the support and training needed to be successful in the role.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of working within a similar role in the logistics industry is desired but not essential as full training will be given.
- MS packages to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Competitive Salary: £26,984 per annum - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Hours: 08:00hrs - 17:00hrs, Monday to Friday, with one Saturday morning shift required on a 1-in-8 rota basis.
Training: Monthly courses for a variety of areas.
