Our team is dedicated to maintaining high standards of compliance and operational efficiency. As an HGV Technician, you'll be instrumental in keeping our fleet safe, compliant, and road ready. Based in a modern, well-run workshop, you'll deliver high-quality diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs, using the latest equipment and following DVSA and manufacturer standards.
- Complete all legal and compliance documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
- Conduct Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) to DVSA standards.
- Work collaboratively within a professional workshop team to meet operational targets.
- Engage in ongoing training and development, including OEM programmes to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Maintenance or equivalent, or demonstrable experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar vehicle maintenance role.
- A valid Class 1 licence is desirable; training and support can be provided to obtain this if required.
Competitive Salary: £22.79 per hour, equating to £49,773 per annum, based on working 48 hours per week.
Hours: 18:00hrs to 06:00hrs, based on 4on 4off rota.
Overtime: Overtime paid at hourly rate x 1.5 = £34.19ph.
PLUS: You will receive £10.00 per shift, when on standby rota basis.
