Class 2 Driver
Location: Cullompton
Shift: 4 out of 6 nights, based on a 9-week rolling rota.
Contract: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
Earn up to £1,100 retention bonus!
Join us on a fixed-term contract from 3rd August to 31st December 2026 and receive up to £1,100 retention bonus on successful completion of the contract. Taxable, non-pensionable and not payable if transferring to a permanent role or serving notice.

About the Role
As a Class 2 Night Trunk Driver, you will:
- Carry out trunking operations from our Cullompton depot to hubs in Ernesettle, Mitchell, or Southampton, using a temperature-controlled trailer to deliver chilled and ambient loads.
- Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage.
- Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
- Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Must hold a UK Class 2 C licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Previous experience delivering to convenience stores is advantageous, but not essential.
- A strong focus on customer service, with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously.
- The ability to work to tight schedules while maintaining high safety standards.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work independently when required.
- Good geographical knowledge and route planning awareness.
