About the Role

  • As a Casual Driver, you will carry out Tramper driving work across the UK, collecting and delivering from all our major customer sites, using a curtain side trailer.
  • Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
  • Use your company-issued phone to carry out thorough daily vehicle safety inspections, helping us maintain the highest standards of road safety and reliability.
  • Stay in regular contact with our transport team, providing updates on your progress to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
  • Take part in regular training sessions to keep your skills sharp and stay up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to drive with confidence and skill.
  • Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared.
  • Excel at meeting deadlines, demonstrating your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
