Casual Warehouse Operative Location : Based at Cullompton, Flexibility to support our North Tawton Depot and Heathfield depot. Key Responsibilities: Use of Counterbalance, Reach and Pivot Trucks to support warehouse operations (training will be provided). Operate warehouse systems and handheld scanners to accurately receive, locate, pick, and dispatch goods. You'll play a key role in ensuring our customers get the right products, on time. Handle all goods with care and precision, maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the process. Replenish stock and consolidate inventory to keep our warehouse organised and ready for demand. Support general warehouse tasks, including pallet wrapping, labelling, and preparing goods for shipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace, ensuring all equipment is used responsibly and kept in good working order. Complete essential paperwork and follow warehouse procedures, reporting any issues or defects promptly to help us continuously improve. Requirements: Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel between sites as required. Hold at least 1 current forklift licence of the above FLT Trucks used within our Warehouse operations is desirable but not essential (training will be provided). Strong communication and teamwork skills - You'll be working closely with others, so being able to share information clearly and collaborate effectively is essential. Exceptional attention to detail - Accuracy matters in every part of the process, from picking and packing to paperwork. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - You'll be on your feet and busy, so energy and adaptability are key. Basic numeracy and literacy skills - You'll need to read instructions, complete documentation, and handle stock counts confidently.
