About the Role
- Carrying out the collection and delivery of AdBlue, liquid sludge, and specialist parts/equipment to commercial clients, depots, and rural locations.
- Working to set delivery rotas as well as planning your own routes when required, ensuring timely and efficient completion of all scheduled drops and collections.
- Engaging directly with customers both in person and over the phone, delivering excellent customer service and representing the company to a high standard.
- Loading and unloading vehicles - either by hand or using a Counterbalance forklift truck (training provided) - and ensuring all loads are safe and secure.
- Putting stock away at delivery depots as needed.
- Completing comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and reliability.
- Navigating a variety of driving conditions, including a high degree of rural driving depending on collection/delivery locations.
- Remaining flexible to occasional overnight stays, typically up to four nights per week depending on routes and operational needs.
- Participating in ongoing training to stay up to date with industry standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of working with vacuum tankers and wastewater is advantageous but full training will be given.
- Excellent organisation skills and used to working to deadlines.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Confident, polite and a team player.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the local area.
- Due to the nature of the role applicants must be hardworking and self-motivated.
