About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Take on the challenge of collecting and delivering customers' products throughout the UK on a curtain-sided trailer. Master the art of load security with ratchet straps and part manual handling, ensuring every delivery is safe and secure. Leverage a handheld PDA to complete paperwork seamlessly and efficiently. Keep in constant contact with the transport team, offering updates on your progress and ensuring our customers' expectations are consistently met. Engage in regular training sessions to stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices, continuously improving your skills. Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous. Passionate about providing excellent customer service. Ability to work to deadlines. Confident, polite, and a team player. Good geographical knowledge. Why Join Gregory Distribution Ltd? Competitive Salary : £15.34ph. For any hours worked on a Saturday or Sunday you will receive £18.09. You will also receive an additional £2.75ph for any hours worked between 21:00 and 04:00hrs. This is based on a 48hr working week. Shift Hours : 5 out of 7. Various start times will be offered. Overtime : Available on a regular basis.
