Shifts: 4 on 4 off

Are you passionate about Warehouse and Logistics and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic logistics company? We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team at the Cribbs site. In this role, you will be using systems and scanners to receive and locate goods, pick and dispatch these goods, as well as load and unload lorries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Counterbalance and Bendi/Aisle Master forklift to safely load and unload palletised goods from lorries and place pallets into designated racking systems.
  • Use various MHE including PPTs, Counterbalance trucks, and Aisle Master units to complete daily warehouse tasks efficiently.
  • Tip and load trailers as required, ensuring all work is carried out safely and accurately.
  • Use warehouse systems and scanners to accurately receive, locate, pick, and dispatch goods while maintaining high standards of care and attention.
  • Pick stock, put stock away into correct locations, and carry out cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Replenish stock and consolidate inventory when needed to support smooth warehouse operations.
  • Support general warehouse duties, such as pallet wrapping, labelling, and 'clean as you go' housekeeping to ensure a safe and organised working environment.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, following warehouse procedures and reporting any issues or equipment defects promptly.

Requirements:

  • Hold either a current Counterbalance license or a Bendi forklift licence.
  • Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with computerised warehouse management systems, Manhattan scale is advantageous.
  • Good communication and team working skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
