  • Champion Health, Safety & Compliance - You'll take a proactive approach to health and safety, conducting audits, creating risk assessments, and ensuring all legal and company standards are met. You'll also oversee driver compliance, including licence checks, CPC records, and training.
  • Manage and Maintain the Fleet - Working closely with maintenance providers, you'll ensure that all vehicles are roadworthy, compliant, and available when needed. You'll also support drivers with vehicle checks and ensure any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Develop and Support Your Team - You'll hold regular 1-2-1s, performance reviews, and development conversations with your direct reports. You'll also deliver training sessions on key topics like vehicle checks, company processes, and CPC updates.
  • Run Effective Meetings and Debriefs - You'll lead regular meetings with Transport Supervisors to review performance, share updates, and align on priorities. You'll also conduct meaningful driver debriefs and gate checks to ensure accountability and legal compliance.
  • Support Strategic Goals - You'll work closely with the Contract Manager to support both local and wider business objectives. You'll contribute ideas, lead initiatives, and help shape the future of the operation.

Required Experience:

  • Qualifications: Must hold international or national CPC qualification and have previous Transport Management experience.
  • Transport Management Systems (TMS): Experience using, ideally Mandata or Manpack, but experience with any TMS is valuable.
