About the Role:

  • Safely unload refrigerated vehicles, typically handling up to three deliveries per day, ensuring goods are managed with care and efficiency.
  • Operate palletised handling equipment, such as pump trucks, or perform trailer swaps depending on the shift schedule, maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
  • Drive a modern, well-maintained fleet of Scania and Volvo vehicles, all under 6 months old ensuring reliability and comfort on the road.
  • Deliver goods to depots across the Southwest and Midlands, adhering to planned schedules and route requirements.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, engaging professionally with clients both in person and over the phone to represent the company positively.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with the transport team, offering real-time updates to support smooth operations and manage customer expectations.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with operational procedures, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
