The position of Class 1 Tramper involves:

  • Starting as a cover driver and once experienced, and availability arises a permanent vehicle will be issued.
  • Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone.
  • Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations. This will include nights away.
  • Attending regular training sessions.

Essential skills required for Class 1 Tramper:

  • Must hold a UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
