Join a well-established food manufacturing site undergoing a significant period of change. Part of a very successful multi-site food business, the Worcester site produces high risk products for the major retailers. This is a newly created Technical Services Manager role following a site restructure, offering a genuine chance to reset standards and leave a lasting impact.
The successful Technical Services Manager will:
- Take ownership of the site Technical Services function during a period of transition.
- Lead and modernise the site QMS, bringing documentation and systems up to current standards.
- Address legacy issues across BRC documentation and site compliance.
- Act as a stabilising and driving force for Technical Services, setting clear standards and expectations.
- Lead and develop a small Technical Services team, including Specification Technologists and a Quality Systems Coordinator.
- Work closely with site leadership to support retailer relationships and future growth.
The successful Technical Services Manager will have:
- Experience in a Technical or Quality leadership role within food manufacturing.
- A strong grounding in BRC, QMS management and audit readiness.
- The resilience and pragmatism to operate in a challenging, legacy environment.
- A hands-on, solutions-focused mindset with a willingness to lead from the front.
