A leading international food ingredients manufacturer is seeking a Customer Technical Manager to join its UK-based facility, which produces tailored ingredient solutions for food manufacturers and foodservice businesses.

Responsibilities
As Customer Technical Manager, you will be the key technical interface between the site and its customer base. You’ll ensure that customer requirements are met through proactive communication, technical assurance, and product integrity, while maintaining high internal standards for food safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key duties include:
- Acting as the primary technical contact for customers, ensuring their standards and expectations are understood and delivered across product development, onboarding, and ongoing supply.
- Managing and overseeing product specifications, traceability, and customer documentation.
- Collaborating closely with the NPD, production, and commercial teams to support successful product launches and customer trials.
- Leading site preparation and participation in customer audits, visits, and technical reviews.
- Ensuring compliance with BRCGS, customer codes of practice, and internal quality systems.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of technical processes and systems with a focus on product safety, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinating with central technical and quality leadership to ensure alignment with wider group standards and protocols.
- Supporting sustainability and regulatory initiatives as part of broader ESG commitments.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a technically competent, customer-focused individual with experience in food manufacturing or ingredients. Exposure to dry blending, seasoning, or coating processes is advantageous.
