We are delighted to be partnering with a dynamic and ambitious food manufacturing business based in Wales, currently seeking a high-calibre Commercial Director to join their senior leadership team. This is a pivotal role within a growing company that, while entrepreneurial and fast-paced at a local level, is backed by the strength and resources of a leading pan-European food group.

As the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for leading all commercial activities across the business – from strategic customer relationships and new business development through to pricing, margin management, and contract negotiation. You will play a key role in shaping and executing the commercial strategy to support continued growth in both UK and international markets.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven Commercial Director or senior commercial leader with experience in FMCG or food manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver the commercial strategy aligned with business objectives and group targets
  • Lead and manage customer relationships across retail, foodservice, and B2B channels
  • Identify and execute growth opportunities, including NPD, channel expansion, and strategic partnerships
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform commercial decisions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Marketing to ensure commercial alignment
