Would you like to work with one of the most well-known ingredients manufacturers in the UK?

We are seeking an experienced and driven individual to become Head Miller across two flour milling sites just north of London.

This role is key to ensuring consistent product quality, high levels of food hygiene, strong team performance and operational efficiency.

The Role

The successful Head Miller will

  • Lead and coordinate milling operations at both sites, ensuring continuity, consistency, and high performance.
  • Support shifts in troubleshooting, decision-making, and managing any disruptions.
  • Promote and enforce a strong health & safety culture, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and internal protocols.
  • Take ownership of mill hygiene, ensuring robust cleaning schedules and hygiene audits are completed.
  • Provide structured training plans aligned with Nabim/UK Flour Millers qualifications.
  • The Candidate

The successful Head Miller will have

  • Extensive experience in flour milling with team management responsibilities
  • Strong technical knowledge of mill flows, extraction optimisation, and flour functionality, with formal milling school training and UKFM distance learning program.
  • Working knowledge of UK Health & Safety, Food Safety regulations, and hygiene practices.
