A leading food manufacturing business within the chilled produce sector is seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager to join their Technical team supporting multiple UK sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused technical professional with strong experience in chilled food manufacturing, food safety, and retailer relationship management.

The Role

Reporting to the Technical Director, the successful candidate will manage key customer technical accounts with responsibility for food safety, quality standards, complaint management, and technical improvement initiatives across the business. The position requires close collaboration with customers, operational teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure technical excellence and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer technical contacts
  • Manage customer technical issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Attend customer meetings, audits, and industry conferences
  • Develop and deliver customer technical improvement plans
  • Lead complaint investigations and corrective action processes
  • Support customer, accreditation, and regulatory audits
