This role offers the opportunity to join one of Europeβs most established and fast-growing businesses, known for its wide-reaching physical and digital retail presence. As the Compliance Manager, you will lead the development and enforcement of regulatory frameworks across a diverse portfolio of products, ensuring the business meets high standards of legal and ethical conduct. The Compliance Manager role is pivotal for the regulatory compliance, food safety and quality of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement compliance policies and frameworks to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory obligations.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Update and manage the QMS, internal audits, training and customer specifications.
- Draft, review, and update policies, procedures, and codes of conduct in line with evolving legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs to educate colleagues and stakeholders on regulatory obligations and best practices.
- Oversee compliance investigations and ensure timely resolution with appropriate corrective actions.
- Liaise with UK and international regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with evolving regulatory landscapes.
- Conduct internal compliance audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assess compliance risks associated with suppliers, distributors, and other third-party partners.
- Maintain compliance records and prepare reports for senior management.
