The incoming Technical Manager will play a central role in this journey, leading the technical function and working closely with senior operations to ensure the site is audit-ready, retail-compliant, and fit for future expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach the site technical and QA team, embedding a strong food safety culture.

  • Take ownership of all food safety, compliance, and quality assurance activities.

  • Manage and continuously improve site systems: BRCGS, HACCP, GMP, allergen control, traceability.

  • Host and prepare for customer and third-party audits, maintaining strong audit outcomes.

  • Oversee supplier quality and raw material standards, ensuring consistency and compliance.

  • Work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and NPD to resolve issues and support launches.

  • Act as a key driver in site improvement projects, elevating technical standards and supporting strategic growth goals.
