Overview Our client, a leading food manufacturer based in South Wales, is looking to appoint an experienced New Product Development (NPD) Manager to lead the innovation and development of new products. This exciting role offers the opportunity to shape the companys product portfolio and contribute to its growth in a competitive market. The NPD Manager will work closely with various departments to bring new ideas to life, from concept through to production. The Role As NPD Manager, you will: Lead the development of new products from concept through to commercialisation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends. Manage the full NPD lifecycle, including product ideation, formulation, shelf-life testing, and production trials. Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, production, and quality, to ensure seamless product launches and ensure new products meet quality standards. Conduct market research to identify new trends and consumer needs, translating these insights into actionable product development plans. Ensure that all NPD projects are delivered on time and within budget, managing timelines and resources effectively. Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to source new ingredients and packaging solutions. Prepare and present NPD proposals, project updates, and post-launch analysis to senior management.
