Our client is a well-established company located near Camberley, Surrey and are looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector for their night shift. A key function of the role will be to carry out 1st off CMM inspection activities and also final inspection of predominantly aerospace machined components. Producing final CMM Reports in readiness for First Article Inspection is another key aspect of this challenging and exciting role.
The basic salary is £36,000 to £45,000 plus benefits (£17.50-20.00 per hour, plus excellent benefits including: 25 days per annum plus bank holidays, plenty of overtime offered paid at time and half, good pension).
Mechanical Inspector Requirements:
- You will be a high calibre performance driven Aerospace Inspector with preferred experience in the sub-contract machining market particularly in the aerospace sector.
- You will have knowledge of BS EN 9100 Rev D and ISO 9000.
- As well as those general standards, you will have good knowledge of individual aerospace company requirements.
- You will be expected to ensure that the Company’s procedures and documentation are adhered to.
