Are you a CNC Miller or Turner looking to use your CNC skills and make the move into an office role? Our client is a successful CNC Precision Engineering company located near Camberley, Surrey and they are looking for an Estimating Engineer. The successful candidate should have CNC experience and ideally within Aerospace or a similar safety-critical industry.
As Estimating Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Preparation of estimates and quotations.
- Following up quotations.
- Contract Reviews to ensure adherence to customer requirements.
- Sales order processing.
- Creation of parts, BOM’s and planning on the production control system.
- Creation of works orders, purchase orders and subcontract documentation.
- Placing Purchase Orders for raw material.
- Expediting the manufacture of parts and assemblies.
- Liaising with Production and Quality to provide customers with up-to-date progress information.
- Gathering and collating data for reporting purposes.
- Preparation of metrics for reports to Commercial Manager.
- General Duties as required conducive to efficient running of the department.
