CNC Turner Setter / Operator

Salary: £14 to £20 per hour plus 1/3 shift uplift, salary £44,000 to £56,000

Nightshift: 46-hour week Monday to Thursday, 17.00 to 5.00am plus overtime paid at time and half

Are you an experienced CNC Turner? If so, our client is a growing Aerospace Precision Engineering / Manufacturing company located in the Camberley area and are looking for an experienced CNC Turner Setter / Operator to work their nightshift.

Our client offers a clean and modern workshop with state-of-the-art machinery, a friendly team, and excellent benefits such as overtime paid at time and half, pension, uniform, etc. basic £14 to £20 per hour plus 1/3 shift uplift (Salary £44,000 to £56,000). Commutable from Camberley, Yateley, Reading, Basingstoke, Woking, Aldershot, Guildford, and surrounding areas. Nightshift: 46-hour week Monday to Thursday, 17.00 to 5.00am

CNC Turner Setter / Operator Responsibilities:

* Setting and operating CNC Turning centres.

* Occasional editing of programmes.

* Use of conversational systems like Mazatrol and Hurco (training available).

* Ensuring that programmes are working effectively.

* Observing the Company’s health and safety rules.

* General duties as required conducive to efficient running of the section.

CNC Turner Setter / Operator Previous Experience:

* CNC setting and operating experience – 2 – Axis Turning Centres.

* Knowledge of CNC programs (Fanuc as well as some Mazatrol or conversational)

* Accomplished setting and proving skills.

* Able to understand engineering drawings.

* Good knowledge of materials, speeds, feeds cutters etc.

* Able to use measuring instruments – micrometers, verniers etc.

* Able to work to a high degree of complexity and accuracy. xiskglj
