Manufacturing Planning Engineer

Location: Byfleet, Near Woking, Surrey

Salary: Highly Competitive

Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Planning Engineer and you would be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing activities across fabrication, machining and assembly operations to ensure customer requirements are met safely, efficiently and on time while maintaining the highest quality standards.

As Manufacturing Planning Engineer you would need to have:

  • HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a manufacturing planning, production planning or manufacturing engineering role.
  • Demonstrable previous experience supporting and planning fabrication, machining, and mechanical assembly operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes, CNC machining operations, assembly techniques and manufacturing workflows.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems for production planning, scheduling, and material control.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience in capacity planning, workload management and production scheduling.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • A professional and proactive individual who takes personal responsibility for resolving problems and delivering results on time.
