Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 Location: near Camberley, Surrey Our client is looking for a Production Engineer / Planner.
Your role will be to compile the customer’s requirements and convert them into works instructions and supporting tooling to ensure our clients engineering and production team have everything they need to deliver what their customers have ordered.
You will be working with both the Sales Department and Engineering Departments.
The successful candidate should have a sound understanding of production engineering with reference to CNC machining.
You will have the ability to plan CNC machining operations.
You will ensure that they are carried out efficiently by using your knowledge of materials, speeds, and feeds.
Experience of 3, 4, and 5 axis machining is essential.
Familiar with ERP or MRP production control systems as well as be able to utilise spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office software to produce documentation and reports.
