Are you a CNC Miller or Turner looking to use your CNC skills and make the move into an office role ?

Our client is a successful CNC Precision Engineering company located near Camberley, Surrey and they are looking for a Estimating Engineer. Salary £35,000 to £50,000 plus benefits. The successful candidate should have CNC experience and ideally within Aerospace or similar safety critical industry.

As Estimating Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of estimates and quotations.
  • Following up quotations.
  • Contract Reviews to ensure adherence to customer requirements.
  • Sales order processing.
  • Creation of parts, BOM’s and planning on the production control system.
  • Creation of works orders, purchase orders and subcontract documentation.
  • Placing Purchase Orders for raw material.
  • Expediting the manufacture of parts and assemblies.
  • Liaising with Production and Quality to provide customers with up-to-date progress information.
  • Gathering and collating data for reporting purposes.
  • Preparation of metrics for reports to Commercial Manager.
  • General Duties as required conducive to efficient running of the department.
