Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector Location: Near Camberley, Surrey Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 Our client is a growing Aerospace Precision Manufacturing / Engineering company based near Camberley and are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer. This role will team lead / supervise a small but capable team. The successful candidate should have extensive knowledge of CMM programming / operating (ideally PC-DMIS Software or similar) and will need to live a commutable distance from Camberley, Yateley, Reading, Basingstoke, Woking, Aldershot, Guildford, and surrounding areas. Salary is from £40,000 to £45,000 dependent on experience plus excellent benefits. Essential Previous Experience Required for the role of Senior Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer: * Extensive knowledge of CMM programming / operating (PC-DMIS Software) * Extensive knowledge of conventional metrology equipment (Micrometers, Verniers, Height Gauges, Plug Gauges etc.) and methods * Extensive knowledge of machining, quality standards and treatment processes (preferably within the aerospace industry) * Working knowledge of First Article Inspection process (FAI) * Able to train/educate/share knowledge with the team * Able to work to a high degree of complexity and accuracy * Able to work under pressure and prioritise * Ability to communicate at all levels * Knowledge of ERP or MRP production control systems Senior Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer Skills: * CMM programming/operating (PC-DMIS) * Good attention to detail * Good time management * Strong organisational skills * Good communication skills * Computer Literate (Microsoft Office tools) Keywords: Mechanical, Inspector, CMM, PC-DMIS, FAI, Quality, CMM Programmer Senior Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer
