Our client is a well-established company located near Camberley, Surrey and are looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector for their day shift. A key function of the role will be to carry out 1st off CMM inspection activities and also final inspection of predominantly aerospace machined components. Producing final CMM Reports in readiness for First Article Inspection is another key aspect of this challenging and exciting role. The basic salary is £36,000 to £45,000 plus benefits (£17.50-20.00 per hour, plus excellent benefits including: 25 days per annum plus bank holidays, plenty of overtime offered paid at time and half, good pension.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 07.30 – 16.30 (30 mins break) and Friday 07.30 – 12.30 (no break).
Mechanical Inspector Requirements:
- You will be a high calibre performance driven Aerospace Inspector with preferred experience in the sub-contract machining market particularly in the aerospace sector.
- You will have knowledge of BS EN 9100 Rev D and ISO 9000.
- As well as those general standards, you will have good knowledge of individual aerospace company requirements.
