About The Role

  • Carry out ad-hoc out and back driving work across the UK, collecting and delivering from all our major customer sites, using but not limited to a refrigerated box trailer.
  • Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use bars, straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
  • Use your company-issued phone to carry out thorough daily vehicle safety inspections, helping us maintain the highest standards of road safety and reliability.
  • Stay in regular contact with our transport team, providing updates on your progress to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
  • Take part in regular training sessions to keep your skills sharp and stay up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Rota is flexible and offered on a weekly basis, with drivers contacted in advance to confirm availability.

This is a zero/casual hours arrangement to support peak periods, annual leave and unplanned absences.

Essential Skills And Qualifications

  • Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Confident, polite, and a team player.
  • Good geographical knowledge.
  • Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.

Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at £21.62ph.

You will receive an extra £2.75ph for any hours worked between 21:00pm and 04:00am.
