Job Description: Are you passionate about transport and logistics and looking to make a meaningful contribution within a fast‑paced distribution environment? We are currently seeking a Transport Administrator to join our team at our Queenslie depot. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the transport operation, helping to ensure the efficient coordination of vehicles, drivers, and deliveries, while maintaining accurate records and supporting the smooth, day‑to‑day running of the depot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily transport administration tasks, including raising PO's, scanning, and filing transport documentation.
  • Optimise the use of resources to maintain accurate scanning and filing processes.
  • Respond to queries professionally via email, phone, and face‑to‑face interactions.
  • Support the production of daily operational statistics.
  • Be responsible for the handling of quotes and cash jobs.
  • Input all jobs onto Transport Management Systems.
  • Support the production of customer reports.
  • Foster positive working relationships and provide support across the team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within the Transport and Logistics industry is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload.
  • Attention to detail is critical and working to deadlines daily.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Strong Excel skills, including confident use of formulas and data organisation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
