Job Description: Are you passionate about Warehouse and Distribution and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic logistics company? We are currently seeking Warehouse Supervisors to join our team at our new state of the art chilled warehouse facility at our Eurocentral site. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing operation, supporting both day and night shifts in a temperature-controlled environment. Key Responsibilities: Take full responsibility for supervising the warehouse team across both day and night shifts in a chilled warehouse environment, ensuring all picking and packing activities are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in line with company standards and customer expectations. Provide clear direction, support, and motivation to a team of between 4 – 10 warehouse operatives. Foster a positive and productive working environment by promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Monitor individual and team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), proactively addressing any issues. Prepare and submit detailed shift reports, including productivity metrics, operational challenges, and staffing updates. Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, particularly in a temperature-controlled environment, and reduce errors or delays. Uphold and enforce all health and safety regulations within the chilled warehouse. Conduct regular safety checks and ensure all team members are trained in and adhere to safe working practices specific to cold storage conditions. Support inventory accuracy by overseeing stock movements, conducting regular cycle counts, and investigating any discrepancies. Ensure that stock is handled and stored correctly to prevent damage or loss in a chilled setting. Serve as the first point of contact for resolving operational issues across both day and night shifts. Make informed decisions quickly to minimise disruption and maintain high service levels. Maintain clear and consistent communication across shifts. Ensure thorough handovers are completed to maintain continuity and operational awareness between day and night teams. Ensure all shift activities comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards, while maintaining a professional and compliant working environment in chilled conditions at all times.Requirements: Previous experience of working in a similar role is essential and you should have a good working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload. Attention to detail. Solution-driven and flexible approach to work.
