Class 2 Tramper Location : Yeovil

Shift: Monday - Friday, plus Sundays on a rota basis Do you have a UK Class 2 C Licence?About the Role As a Class 2 Tramper, you will: Deliver garage doors nationwide to builders' merchants and construction sites across the UK using a curtain side trailer.

Ensure loads are transported safely and securely through the effective use of ratchet straps and occasional manual handling.

Conduct comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using a company-issued mobile device, helping to maintain the highest standards of roadworthiness, safety, and reliability.

Maintain regular communication with the transport team, providing timely updates to support efficient operations and deliver excellent customer service.

Undertake overnight stays as required, embracing the variety and independence that comes with long-distance driving.

Participate in regular training and development programmes to enhance your skills and stay up to date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications You must hold a UK Class 2 C Licence, enabling you to operate rigid vehicles with confidence and professionalism.

A current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and a Digital Tachograph Driver Card are essential to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.

Overtime : Paid at an hourly rate.
