Location: Pallet Networks, Shepton Mallet.

Shift: Monday to Friday including a Saturday rota works out at 1 Saturday in 10 normally, paid at £20.00 per hour, job and knock & guaranteed minimum 4 hours pay.

About the Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will:

  • Use a curtain side vehicle to make multi drop palletised deliveries around the South West.
  • Ensure goods are loaded and secured legally and safely.
  • Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone.
  • Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience of delivering directly to client sites is advantageous.
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Confident, polite, and a team player.
  • Good geographical knowledge.
  • Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
