About the Role
- Execute scheduled out-and-back delivery routes, ensuring punctual and efficient transportation of goods with timely return to the base, while maintaining route integrity.
- Provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone to support the smooth execution of delivery operations.
- Master the art of load security with ratchet straps and part manual handling, ensuring every delivery is safe and secure.
- Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
