As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
- Be away from depot all week transporting a variety of load types.
- Carry out a variety of transport duties, including long-distance and pallet network trunking, multi-drop deliveries, and operating curtain-sided trailers, with flexibility to meet changing workloads.
- Provide transport services for multiple depot-based customers, ensuring their handling and delivery requirements are met professionally.
- Operate curtain-sided and refrigerated vehicles, ensuring correct loading, secure transport, and temperature control where needed.
- Stay in regular contact with the transport team to give progress updates, highlight delays or issues, and support effective customer service.
Requirements:
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
