Job Description: Are you passionate about Warehouse and Logistics and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic logistics company? We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Highbridge site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Powered Pallet Truck to support daily warehouse operations, ideally holding a valid and up-to-date forklift licence.
- Load and unload vehicles during day-shift operations, ensuring all goods are handled safely, securely, and in line with company procedures.
- Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Zebra scanning devices to accurately receive, locate, pick, and dispatch stock, maintaining excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Replenish, consolidate, and rotate stock to support accurate inventory levels and an efficient workflow, using Excel and other digital tools to complete stock checks, basic reporting, and operational tasks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace, ensuring equipment is used responsibly and kept in good working condition.
- Complete essential paperwork and follow all warehouse procedures, promptly reporting any issues or defects to support continuous improvement.
Required Experience:
- Hold a current PPT licence or demonstrate practical experience operating a Powered Pallet Truck.
- Good communication and team working skills.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to work within a fast paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
