HGV Driver Location : Cullompton Shift : 4 out of 6 days, based on a 9-week rolling rota. Do you have a UK Class 1 or Class 2 Licence? If \’YES,\’ we want to hear from you! About the Role As an HGV Driver, you will: Deliver chilled and frozen products on multidrop radial routes across Devon and Cornwall using a temperature-controlled trailer. Carry out vehicle swaps as needed and undertake manual transhipping tasks using roll cages. Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed. Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability. Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers\’ expectations are met. Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices. Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 1 CE or a UK Class 2 C license. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous. Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
