About the Role
- Handle the loading and unloading of palletised / caged products from refrigerated trucks, ensuring goods are transported safely and securely.
- Operate out of Haverfordwest, delivering to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs) across Wales.
- Some handballing and self-tipping will be required, ideal for those who enjoy staying active and engaged throughout the day.
- Use your company-issued phone to carry out thorough daily vehicle safety inspections, helping us maintain the highest standards of road safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular contact with our transport team, providing updates on your progress to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Take part in regular training sessions to keep your skills sharp and stay up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- You must hold a valid UK Class 1 CE Licence, enabling you to operate articulated vehicles with confidence and professionalism.
- A current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and a Digital Tachograph Driver Card are essential to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
- Previous experience working with refrigerated trailers is a plus, but not essential - full training will be provided to get you up to speed.
