About the Role As a Casual Driver, you will: Safely unload refrigerated vehicles , typically handling up to three deliveries per day, ensuring goods are managed with care and efficiency.

Operate palletised handling equipment , such as pump trucks, or perform trailer swaps depending on the shift schedule, maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Drive a modern, well-maintained fleet of Scania and Volvo vehicles, all under 6 months old ensuring reliability and comfort on the road.

Deliver goods to depots across the Southwest and Midlands , adhering to planned schedules and route requirements.

Provide outstanding customer service , engaging professionally with clients both in person and over the phone to represent the company positively.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with the transport team, offering real-time updates to support smooth operations and manage customer expectations.

Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with operational procedures, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications Full UK Class 1 (CE) Licence - essential for operating articulated vehicles.

Valid Driver CPC (DCPC) and Digital Tachograph Card - ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.

Experience with fridge trailers is beneficial, but full training will be provided for those new to refrigerated transport.

Previous experience delivering directly to client sites is advantageous and demonstrates confidence in customer-facing roles.

Strong commitment to customer service , with a professional and courteous approach at all times.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines , maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Confident and polite communicator , with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Solid geographical knowledge of the South West, Midlands, and surrounding areas.
