Location: Pallet Networks, Shepton Mallet.
Shift: Monday to Friday including a Saturday rota works out at 1 Saturday in 10 normally, paid at £20.00 per hour, job and knock & guaranteed minimum 4 hours pay.
About the Role
- As a Class 2 Driver, you will use a curtain side vehicle to make multi drop palletised deliveries to businesses around the Southwest.
- Ensure goods are loaded and secured legally and safely.
- Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone.
- Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Must hold a UK Class 2 C Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of delivering directly to client sites is advantageous.
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
