The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
The position of Class 2 Driver involves:
- Collection and delivery of Biosolids within the South West.
- High degree of rural driving due to the nature of the locations of our collections.
- Planning routes on a day-to-day basis.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations.
- Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone, providing a high level of customer service.
- Attending regular training sessions.
Essential skills required for Class 2 Driver:
- Must hold a UK Class 2 C Licence.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of working with tippers and hooklifts, but full training will be given.
- Excellent organisation skills and used to working to deadlines.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the local area.
- Hardworking and self-motivated due to the nature of the role.
