Class 2 Driver Location : Southampton, Hampshire Shift : 48 hour week, based on a 25-week rolling contract.
Do you have a UK Class 2 C Licence?About the Role As a Class 2 Driver, you will: Operate a rigid vehicle equipped with a tail lift to deliver bakery products to a range of retail outlets, wholesale and convenience stores across the South of England.
Provide a high level of customer service at delivery points, engaging directly with customers to ensure delivery requirements are met and expectations are managed effectively. Demonstrate flexibility to accommodate early start times, safely operate tail-lift equipment, and carry out manual handling of bread deliveries in line with safe working practices.
Ensure all goods are loaded, secured, and transported correctly to prevent movement or damage, using straps, load restraint bars, and other securing equipment as required.
Maintain regular communication with the transport team, providing timely updates on progress to support efficient operations and customer satisfaction. Participate fully in regular training sessions to remain up to date with industry standards, compliance requirements, and best-practice procedures. Essential
