Class 2 Driver Location : Cullompton Shift : 5 out of 7 days, based on a rolling rota. Do you have a UK Class 2 CE Licence? If \βYES,\β we want to hear from you! About the Role As a Class 2 Driver, you will: Use a curtain side vehicle with a tail lift to deliver bakery products on behalf of Allied Bakeries, Hovis and Braces Bakery from our depot in Cullompton to a range of retail outlets, wholesale and convenience stores across the South West. Engage with customers directly at delivery points, ensuring their delivery expectations are met and managed effectively. Maintain flexibility to accommodate early start times, operate tail-lift equipment, and handle manual bread deliveries safely and efficiently. Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, load restraining bars, and other securing devices as needed. Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability. Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers\β expectations are met. Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices. Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 2 CE Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Passionate about providing excellent customer service. Ability to work to deadlines. Confident, polite, and a team player.
