About the Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will:
- Make multi drop palletised deliveries and collections to and from businesses and private addresses around the South West.
- Perform Tail Lift and Handball loading on to trailers.
- Conduct comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain vehicle safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence or Class 2 C Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of driving HGVs advantageous.
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
