About the Role

  • As a Class 1 Casual Driver, you will be delivering vinegar in tanker lorries to different sites locally.
  • All tanks will be preloaded before the route takes place.
  • You will be required to unload the vinegar once at customer site.
  • Occasional nights out may be required.
  • Occasional coverage at our National Grid depot in Huthwaite may be required.
  • Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
  • Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Tanker experience required due to the nature of the role.
  • Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Confident, polite, and a team player.
  • Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
