About the Role

  • As a Class 1 Driver, you will take on a diverse range of responsibilities, from curtain-sided and fridge box work to collections and deliveries from customer sites to warehouses in Devon, making every day unique and fulfilling.
  • Conduct comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to ensure your vehicle remains in peak condition.
  • Keep in constant contact with the transport team, offering updates on your progress and ensuring our customers' expectations are consistently met.
  • Engage in regular training sessions to stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices, continuously improving your skills.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to drive with confidence and skill.
  • Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared.
  • Experience with fridge trailers is a plus, but not a must - we provide thorough training to get you up to speed.
  • Bring your enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service, making every interaction memorable.
  • Excel at meeting deadlines, demonstrating your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
