About the Role
- As a Class 1 Driver, you will take on a diverse range of responsibilities, from curtain-sided and fridge box work to collections and deliveries from customer sites to warehouses in Devon, making every day unique and fulfilling.
- Conduct comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to ensure your vehicle remains in peak condition.
- Keep in constant contact with the transport team, offering updates on your progress and ensuring our customers' expectations are consistently met.
- Engage in regular training sessions to stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices, continuously improving your skills.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to drive with confidence and skill.
- Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared.
- Experience with fridge trailers is a plus, but not a must - we provide thorough training to get you up to speed.
- Bring your enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service, making every interaction memorable.
- Excel at meeting deadlines, demonstrating your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
